What is consent?

Consent is when one person agrees or give permission to do something or engage in an activity. Consent needs to be freely given with enthusiasm and it needs to be specific. Consent once given is not perpetual and can always be reversed based on the individual's convenience. Consent is never implied by a person behavior, clothes, place or time. Silence should never be misconstrued as consent.
