What is dyspareunia?

Dyspareunia is a medical term for painful intercourse. This pain can be either be before, during or after intercourse. The pain can be either internal or external. There could be multiple reasons as to why an individual would experience pain during intercourse. Visiting your health care provider is a good option if the source of the pain is consistent and unknown.
