What is trichomoniasis?

Trichomoniasis is an infection caused by a parasite, commonly seen in people with vaginas, although it can be seen in penis owners as well. The parasite can be transmitted through anal, oral or vaginal intercourse or through sharing a sex toy. This infection is common and can be treated with medication prescribed by a doctor.
